
Patricia Haddad Bennett, M.Ed is the Executive Director of Policy for Battle Born Kids Matter, where she leads efforts to advance policies that expand access to high-quality education for every student in Nevada. She brings more than a decade of experience in public policy, legislative affairs, and education advocacy in Nevada.
Previously, Patricia served as the Clark County School District’s Government Affairs Director and lead lobbyist, where she developed and advocated for a kids-first policy platform at the local and state level – work that contributed to the largest increase in state funding for public education in Nevada’s history. She also previously served as Vice Chair of the State Public Charter School Authority, guiding governance decisions to strengthen accountability and access in the public charter school sector. A dedicated community organizer and advocate, Patricia is deeply committed to civic engagement and building collective power toward common good. In her personal capacity, Patricia is a leader with the Downtown Las Vegas Neighborhood Coalition, serves on the LVMPD Citizens Review Board, and has been a member of the City of Las Vegas Community Development Recommending Board since 2019. Patricia is also a founding member and contributor for the daily podcast City Cast Las Vegas.
Patricia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Master’s degree in Special Education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. In her free time Patricia enjoys doing yoga, spending time with her senior dog, Thomas, and traveling with her husband, Andrew.
